3 All-Natural Face Mask Recipes to Leave Your Skin Feeling Bright and Beautiful

83

To look gorgeous, caking on makeup to cover up imperfections simply won’t do. The goal of attaining a beautiful face should be to focus on the foundation, and that means taking care of the skin beneath all that makeup. Washing and moisturizing your face on a daily basis will play a large role in this, but real changes will come when you start utilising face masks.
Unfortunately, many store-bought face masks come loaded with ingredients you probably can’t even pronounce, and this likely means that there are tons of toxins in there. The good news is that you can create your own face masks by using many ingredients that you probably already have in your kitchen or bathroom. These are all-natural face masks that are safe, luxurious and effective.

1. The Honey and Banana Mask for Dry Skin

Honey is a wonderful, natural ingredient that can moisturize and hydrate skin that tends to get dry. Banana is a soothing fruit that smells lovely and offers vitamins A, B6 and C as well as potassium and magnesium to the skin.

Make sure the mixture is stirred well before applying it to clean skin. Leave the mask on for 20 to 30 minutes. The mask may drip, so keep a moist towel on hand. When you remove the mask, rinse your face with lukewarm water until the product is gone. Finally, pat your face dry with a clean towel.

2. The Lemon and Oil Mask for Dull Skin

The skin on your face can appear dull from time to time due to the build up of dead skin cells. Usually, a quick exfoliation can take care of this, but when too many dead skin cells build up, you need an exfoliating mask with gentle but acidic lemon to strip away the dullness.
