Jay Lapidus, Director
Jay Lapidus is in his eighteenth season as head men's tennis coach at Duke University. A three-time All-America selection and team captain at Princeton University, Lapidus earned berths on both the US Davis Cup Team and US Junior Davis Cup Team in 1980. Lapidus was the top-ranked collegian during his junior year at Princeton in 1980 and was also ranked number one nationally in 21-and-under singles by the USTA in 1980. Lapidus played professionally on the Grand Prix circuit from 1981 through 1987 and was ranked as high as #29 in the world in singles in 1983. He reached the round of 32 at the US Open in 1984, the round of 16 at the Australian Open in 1985 and the round of 32 at Wimbledon in 1986. Team HighlightsCareer Highlights
| Jamie Ashworth, Director
Jamie Ashworth is in his twelfth season as the head coach of the women's tennis team at Duke University. He holds a 229-49 career record. A native of Amherst, N.H., Ashworth was a four year letter winner at the University of Maryland. He was captain of the team his junior and senior years before graduating in 1994. Ashworth then came to Duke University as the Assistant Women's Coach from 1994-1997. He has been the Head Coach of the Blue Devils since 1997. Team HighlightsCareer Highlights
